Steadfast Farm Hard Red Winter Wheat

We are growing one of the few regionally adapted hard red wheat available to growers in the piedmont of the Appalachian mountains. Its resistance to common diseases associated with our warm humid climate and other beneficial traits gives us the ability to successfully grow a hard red winter wheat in central Virginia.

Grown to be drank! Also great in soups and stews, and in whole wheat bread Our Hard Red Winter Wheat is sweet and nutty like that of an almond and the freshness of the flour will take your breath away. The milling of the wheat with the smearing and crushing action of the stone mill create a product unlike any you will find in stores. Great for loaves, flat breads, pancakes and much more.
